• Startrekk fenders are constructed of leather; in the fender portion there is a core of nylon webbing, and this webbing continues and is the sole material going over the stirrup rings (prevents bulk). Then, at the end of the strap where the holes are, it is leather backed with nylon webbing.

All pads are custom-made and can be made to fit any style saddle.
Pads are shaped over the withers and all treeless pads are made with front-loading insert pockets to prevent seams and bulk against the horse.
They provide excellent spine clearance, are moisture-wicking and breathable, and the fleece provides good saddle stability without rubbing.

Options include:

• Laminated inserts (for extra spinal clearance and to add a “twist” to treeless saddles)
• Lexan sheet embedded in the inserts (extra protection from pressure points)
• Layer of felt (additional spine/wither clearance)
• Dryback (aids cooling/air circulation between horse and saddle)
• 100% wool, 80% wool/20% poly fleece, or 65% wool/35% poly fleece bottom

Skito inserts can also be purchased separately and used in other pads.
Interpads (inserts encased in spandex, to be used between your regular pad and the saddle) are available as well as various shims.

HAF pads are available to fit any style saddle and will work well with all of the saddles we carry at Saddling Solutions.

Options include:

• Black, royal blue, or red top
• Sympanova or aerogel bottom; also, ½ wool fleece and ½ sympanova (fleece on the horse’s back, sympanova under the flaps of the saddle) and ½ aerogel, ½ sympanova.

Sympanova and aerogel are easily washable (just hose off) and very non-slip.

Excellent choice for those who ride multiple horses or just hate to wash pads!
