The Western and Endurance have the same basic design as the Startrekk Comfort saddle.
The seat is adjustable on the regular size and there are two choices for stirrup placement on both sizes. The Western and Endurance feel similar to the rider.
The differences between them are:
- The Endurance has a Y-girthing setup
that accomodates a dressage-length English girth and
it positions the girth more towards the center of the
saddle.
- The Western has traditional Western rigging (including rings for a flank cinch) and is more appropriate for horses with a forward girth groove or very well-sprung ribs.
- The Western is available with or without a horn on the
pommel. The horn is for decoration and should
not be used for roping or ponying.
Available colors: havana or natural smooth leather; black or brown nubuck.
Seat sizes: Regular size adjusts up to 16” Western/18” English seat. Shorty size is equivalent to 15” Western/17” English seat.
Saddle length: Regular is 24" overall, Shorty is 22" overall. The panels are approximately 1-1.5" shorter than the saddle base.
Pommels: 4 widths (removable and changeable)
Panels: leather-covered, removable, and adjustable; available in 4 thicknesses.
Saddle only: $1625
Saddle with fenders: $1725

The Comfort saddle is an excellent choice for trail, pleasure, and endurance riders who like a more English style saddle. Single flap design, billets will fit any dressage girth. Two choices for stirrup position, cantle is moveable for an adjustable seat size (regular size only). This saddle provides quite a bit more structure than many treeless saddles, giving the rider and horse more of a treed-saddle feel while still remaining flexible and adjustable.
Available colors: black, two-tone dark brown, and cognac
Seat size: Regular Comfort adjusts up to 16” Western/18” English seat. Comfort Shorty is equivalent to 15” Western/17” English seat. Please note: treeless saddles tend to fit a bit differently in the seat than treed saddles and you may find that you fit in a smaller seat size than you would in a treed saddle.
Pommels are available in 4 widths and are removable and changeable.
The panels are leather-covered, removable, and adjustable. They come in 4 thicknesses.

Startrekk Dressage Saddle:
A treeless dressage saddle with a twist and a very normal appearance! No one will know it's treeless except you and your horse. Deep seat, straight flaps, classically positioned stirrup bars. Available in 16.5", 17.5", and 18.5" sizes (16.5" saddles are special order only).
Startrekk All-Purpose Saddle:
Slightly shallower seat than the dressage, flaps are positioned more forward to allow for a shorter stirrup length. Suitable for jumping up to 3'. Available in 16.5", 17.5", and 18.5" sizes (16.5" saddles are special order only).
Startrekk Icelandic Saddle:
Designed with the forward-girth-grooved, big shoulder action type of horse in mind. Flatter seat than the dressage, slightly more forward flap, slightly more forward stirrup position (not a chair seat). Works equally well for gaited and non-gaited horses, and excellent for riders wanting to show in dressage but who prefer a more open seat. Available in 16.5" and 17.5" sizes (16.5" saddles are special order only). |
