Engineered in Germany from the finest materials. Startrekk saddles provide a bit more structure and rigidity than many treeless saddles. This range of saddles is highly customizable, with 4 to 5 pommel widths and 4 thicknesses of movable and replaceable panels. Most models have a choice of two stirrup positions and an adjustable seat. A very secure feel for the rider. Available models include the Comfort (all purpose/trail), Dressage, Endurance, Western, All-Purpose (Icelandic), and Espaniola (classical Portuguese). Treefree Saddles

Made in Great Britain and based on a tried-and-true design for treeless saddles, the Treefree is very flexible and well-cushioned for the rider. Built-in panels provide clearance for the horse’s spine. The pommel insert is available in 3 widths. Many custom options are available, including custom pommel widths, built-up seat, removable panels (or no panels at all), and custom stirrup placement. Available in English/all purpose (Dartmoor) and Western styles. Prices start at $1400.

Freeform Saddles

Made in Italy, the Freeform provides excellent weight distribution due to its injection-molded foam construction. The seat portion of the saddle is removable from the saddle body and so it is possible to use multiple seat sizes and styles on one saddle. The stirrup attachment can be positioned anywhere that the rider desires. Options include SB (Short Back, a shorter saddle body for small horses), full girthing (provides a choice of girth locations), calfskin leather, nubuck, or suede, and a choice of fleece, suede, or Sympa-Nova lining on the underside of the saddle. Available in several English and Western models. Prices start at $1450.
